Conversation with Jesus
Lord thank you for working out all these things. I hope that I did the right thing with these important people?
Yes you did, just because someone has a fancy garb don’t let this intimidate you, like James said, “ye have respect to him that wears the fancy clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool: Are ye not then partial in yourselves” (James 2:3&4)
Don’t let someone’s position throw you off. A person is a person – rich or poor! It is good that you spend time with my simple people in the jungles and no matter what, each person will be judged equal so that makes it simple. Don’t fall in this trap of treating people differently because of their status or background. How can you do any good to the humble ones when you start favouring the proud ones? They will immediately sense it. When you favour certain people above others then how can you love all equal like I did? 75 to 80 percent of the population is the poor. Have I not chosen the poor of this world rich in faith? Faith is the only thing that will survive and stand and not riches. I am not saying that you should be disrespectful to the rich. Absolutely not! What I am saying is that you should treat everyone equal, rich and poor. You treat them with respect and dignity, whether it is a Prince or a Pauper, a King or a Kuli. Each one deserves dignity and each one should have your respect as I respect them.
Who were the first ones that were invited to my coming to earth? Was it the rich and powerful or the poor and the humble? My Father made sure that He invited the people that were important to Him first, He invited the poor shepherds and secondly the three rich wise men. If my Father respected them enough to invite them first to my birth then you make sure to respect the poor and not give any preference to those who are financially in a better position. You are doing well but let this be a good reminder so as to keep your priorities straight.
Thank you for this good reminder and making it always so simple and clear.
Thank you that even though you were God’s Son, you were a homeless as you said, “The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.” (Matthew 8:20) My dear Love, will you protect those that have no house or home to go back to, those that have broken homes and families? Will you comfort them and be their partner? Help them to turn to you so they can experience, even if it is a little of the love that you shown me. Thank you for everything. Thank you my love, my heart rejoices in you.
As does my heart rejoice in you.
